Like most kids born in the 90's, I cached up the obsession with Pokemon. Those video games, cartoons and many other types of merchandise were part of my entire childhood, and still today they're part of me; that's why I chose them to be the first ones listed on my series of 'Throwback Thursdays' from today until I get to  be 18, or in other words ending this on October 11, 2012.

One of the greatest memories that I have since I was very young (about 5 years old) is that it was a long weekend, and that meant no school, only TV for 4 days! Lucky me, I had a TV in my room with cable and everything, so also getting lucky, there was this non-stop marathon for 48 hours and no commercials, which happen to be a Pokemon Marathon in Cartoon Network, where I remember they transmitted the entire season one, a.k.a. Indigo League; and I specifically remember this moment when it was about 3 or 4 in the morning and I desperately wanted to sleep but I couldn't let my laziness win, as I was trying to stay awake to see my favorite TV show back in those days!

Now, some may say, ugh come on, it's just some stupid cartoon, franchise, whatever. But well, for me it was way more, it mean loads of things, including many lessons that I still apply to this day. So I'm happy to say I was part of the Pokemon Generation and that also, they all still are in my heart.

////
I would like to introduce me for the people who may someday see this blog. Starting by saying that I'm 17 years old, I live in a 3th world country and I would LOVE to see some change in myself is what describes me the most.

Years ago (talking when I was about 14 or so), I had this trend fashion... of dressing without any style. Something more like this:
I was one of those girls who never minded the others talks or expectations; but one day I decided to change. I've been the same weight, height and practically person since 2009. Now 2012, and about to become an adult (18 years old omg!) I want to do something for myself and change from being:

  • Weight - from 60 kg to 45 kg.
  • Height - from 1.57 mts to (I hope) 1.62 mts.
  • Person - from awkwardly girl with no sense of style to Girly boho/fashion chic.
Right now, those things rule me. And about to start college, I would like to give everyone I know a new idea of who I really want to be in the future.

Here's a picture of me about a month ago, (I don't have any recent pictures heh) for a better idea of how much I've changed in this while.

The only thing left now is continue with what I'm doing, so from today being 58 kgs and 17 years old, by today next year I hope to be 45 kgs and of course 18 years old. Wish me luck!!!
